Heat is a design input, not a warranty footnote
For a Phoenix exterior installation, record the published operating range for every camera, doorbell, battery, power supply, and network device. Then compare that range with the real mounting exposure, not only the forecast air temperature. Direct sun, enclosed boxes, and west-facing walls can create harsher conditions.
Shade may improve equipment conditions but cannot block the field of view or infrared illumination. Ask the installer to explain cable protection, power-supply placement, battery replacement access, and the warranty process for heat-related failure.
